The last matches of EPS Germany 16 regular season were played on Wednesday, and even though all the Finalists were already known, there were still some interesting matches.
Mousesports had secured the first spot a few weeks ago, but they were chasing a perfect campaign, so the match versus You Don't Know Me was their last hurdle. It proved to be one of the tougher matches this season for the current champions, but they still came out on top with a 16-10 victory. That was their 15th win in as many matches and it meant they achieved their 3rd perfect season in EPS Germany history, while no other team has done it even once.
The most pleasant surprise this season, TBH, were surprised themselves by snook when they lost 12-16. Their 3rd defeat of the season did drop them from 2nd to 3rd place, but it didn't have affect on who will be their first opponent at the Finals, as it would have been Alternate even if they didn't lose.
The other two Finals participants, Alternate and n!faculty, finished their online season with victories against cwG and Alternative, respectively. The already relegated cwG didn't put up much resistance against Alternate as they were defeated 16-7, but n!faculty had to try hard against Alternative for a 16-11 win.
In the only match that meant something on the last day of play, myRuSh ended Nanoxia's hopes for salvation by winning 16-11 and had therefore sent them down to EAS. After that, snook and mystical Lambda could breathe a sigh of relief as Nanoxia wasn't a threat anymore, so they played their matches without pressure. Snook, as already mentioned, defeated TBH 16-12 and mystical Lambda lost 14-16 to myRuSh. The final standings of all teams can be seen here.
It might be interesting to note that none of the teams that started on the CT-side managed to win this week, including 7 matches on de_train and 1 on de_tuscan.

Player performances
Since most of the matches were close, rating of 1.70 was enough to earn Navid "Kapio" Javadi the top spot for his performance against You Don't Know Me, as he top-fragged in both halves.
Manuel "approx" Zeitz from Alternate, who was surprisingly overlooked for MVP nominations, played another great match that brought him to this list for the 5th time, most of all players.
Only two players so far this season stood out enough when they lost a match to earn a place here, and now in the last week we have two more, both from Nanoxia.
First one of them is Burak "coLLy" Dogramaci, who played great against myRuSh with 23 kills in the first half, but it wasn't enough to keep his team in the relegation battle. Right behind him is his teammate Hannes "Hanso" Dunkel thanks to his performance in the close loss to Tera.
Completing the list is Vinh "NiNjA" Bui Thanh, n!faculty's best player in their match against Alternative, which is his second time this season to appear on the list.

Team performances
The only team that conceded less than 10 rounds unsurprisingly finds itself at the leading spot. Alternate defeated cwG 16-7 and is the only team whose all 5 members had ratings over 1. ESC is at second place, thanks to a very dominant 11-3 second half in their 16-13 win against Hardware4u. Sharing the third place are two teams that will meet in the semi-finals, mousesports and n!faculty, thanks to their wins against You Don't Know Me and Alternative.
